Our Whole Summer Truffle represents true gastronomic excellence. Ingredients: Summer truffle (Tuber aestivum Vittad.) 83%, cooking water, salt.

Storage: Store at room temperature, away from light and heat sources, in a dry and ventilated place. Once opened: store in the refrigerator at +2/+4°C and consume within 5/7 days.

Directions: Shake well before use, serve in flakes or grated.

Ingredients:

  • Whole summer truffle (Tuber aestivum, Vittad.)
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Optional: butter, parmesan, fresh cream

Preparation:

  1. Gently wash the truffle under cold running water with a soft brush to remove any traces of soil.
  2. Dry it with a clean cloth and let it rest for a few minutes.
  3. Finely slice the truffle using a truffle slicer or mandolin.
  4. Use it directly to garnish hot dishes such as risottos, tagliatelle or meat and fish carpaccio.
  5. For a more intense flavour, lightly heat the truffle slices in a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil or melted butter before serving.

Advice:

Summer truffle expresses its maximum aroma when added to hot dishes just before serving, avoiding excessively high temperatures that could disperse its fragrances.
